Dr. Whittaker obtained her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Barry University School of Graduate Medical Sciences in Miami, Florida. She then spent three years in residency training in foot and ankle surgery at Mercy Hospital in Miami. She has participated in several medical mission trips to Jamaica and Mexico. In addition, Dr. Whittaker has received specialty training in sports medicine, external fixation, and diabetic foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Whittaker is a Diplomate of the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry, and she is board certified in primary care in podiatric medicine. Dr. Healy is a native of Rochester, Minnesota. She obtained her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Minnesota. She then went on to obtain her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, where she was not only valedictorian of her class, but the only student ever to graduate holding top honors in both medicine and surgery. Dr. Healy completed her surgical residency at Thorek Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. She is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. After practicing for 14 years in Abilene, Texas, Dr. Healy has recently returned to Minnesota. Her professional interests include all aspects of podiatric care, including foot surgery, diabetic wound care and limb salvage, sports medicine, and podopediatrics. She has enjoyed being a frequent lecturer within her local community on subjects ranging from diabetic foot care to sport-specific shoe gear and bracing. Dr. Healy is a compassionate, highly trained and experienced podiatrist. She believes in developing strong doctor-patient relationships and is dedicated to meeting the needs of her patients. She enjoys spending time with her husband and children playing music together, camping, and being outdoors.
